This research and development will be in the following technical areas: characterization of silicon MOS devices, fabrication and characterization of infra-red (IR) imaging devices, development of Silicon-Germanium (SiGe) high-speed heterojunction devices, growth of heterostructure layers by molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) for IR devices, and development of experimental circuit approaches to perform new, advanced, or novel functions.
