The Defense Information Technology Contracting Office (DITCO) intends to place a Delivery Order against GSA Schedule GS00K93AGS5661 with Legent Corporation, Two Allegheny Center, Pittsburgh PA 15212 for renewal of MULTI-IMAGE INTEGRITY, MULTI-IMAGE ALLOCATION, MULTI-IMAGE CONSOLE, AND ENHANCED DATA SET INTEGRITY FACILITY software maintenance at four locations for the period 1 October 1995 through 30 September 1996. This software is proprietary to Legent and is therefore being acquired using other than full and open competition under the authority of 40 USC 759(g), Specific Make and Model. The software operates on Amdahls 5995-6650M, 5995-4650M, 5995-1100A, and 5995-1400A. Vendors who wish to respond to this synopsis shall submit pricing data for providing the required software maintenance described herein. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the contracting officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended schedule vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent or otherwise request a copy of the solicitation. See Note 22. (0167)
