The requirement is for Occupational Health Care Services for DDRE employees during second shift, third shift, holidays, Saturdays, Sundays and first shift when DDRE Health Clinic Staff are not available. The period of performance will be one year with 2 option years. Providers must be accredited and have proper credentials in accordance with the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals or the American Osteopathic Association. Emergency medical services provided must be able to handle life/limb threatening situations. Emergency services must be available within a 10 mile radius of DDRE, New Cumberland, PA. It has been determined for the purposes of this requirement only local hospitals have the necessary staffing, equipment and facilities to respond to the installation's emergency healthcare needs.
