Requirements for the Establishment and operation of a nationwide TMC for the department of housing and urban development. This contract is estimated at 4 million in annual air ticket sales, with Washington, DC headquarters estimated at $1.4 million and approximately 73 Field offices making up the rest of the volume. The Government will offer 710 sq. Ft. Of space for an on-siteheadquarters office. HUD would prefer stps at each site that warrants It, and where the dollar volume is not sufficient to warrant an STP, the contractor should provide ticket delivery. All offices utilize the Government credit card 100%. The Solicitation will contain a complete listing of all Field offices, estimated dollar volume, number of tickets, and number of employees at eachoffice. About 1% of travel is International. The TMC will, if requested by the agency coordinator, negotiate lodging discount rates and preferred property arrangements in frequently traveled to cities. A rebate of .57% is required. An additional rebate is requested. This is a NO COST contract, as the Government does not pay for travel management Center services, but rather the travel agency receives revenue through commissions received. The Solicitation will be issued on or about July 5, 1995, and will Close on or about August 4,1995. The contract period will be December 15, 1995 or date of award, whichever is later, through December 14, 1996 with four one-year option periods.
