Smith (502) 798-7822 (Site Code DAKF23) Project consists of frequency converter addition and installation of new CB/Panel, receptacle outlets, LV transformers, etc.,. Install new circuit breaker on existing main distribution panel (MDP) at mechanical room with new frame/bracket, as required, hardware, etc., complete. Remove or replace main circuits with 3-#1/0 THHN wire and existing conduit from MDP to replaced converter. Install new main circuits with THHN wire and new EMT-rigid conduit from MDP to new equipment as shown. Install wall- mounted control panel, main 225 amp 480 v 3p and others, 3p circuit breakers, as indicated. Wiring branch circuits with THHN wire and new EMT/rigid conduit from new control panel to outlets/equipment. Remove and replace new 75 kva 480 v 3p converter (480 HZ)(furnished by the Government) with extended concrete base and/or with their own stands. Install new 75 kva frequency converter (400 HZ)(furnished by the Government) and new dry type transformer 480 v - 120/208 v 3 ph Y sec, complete with brackets/stands, as required. Install new NEMA 1, surface mounted enclosed circuit breaker 125 amp 3p and neutral complete. Wiring with 4-#1/0 THHN wire, 2'' EMT/rigid conduit for 480/60 HZ receptacle outlets complete with box, fittings, receptacles, plugs, etc. Grounding and bonding of equipment, receptacles metal conduits, and accessories as per NEC, 1995. Check and test complete installation to run with new equipment and outlets. Miscellaneous work includes construction of framework/supports, connection to all equipment installed; providing boxes, fittings, hardware, sealing as required; lightning protection (secondary) to equipment; demolition; repair of existing work; and tests as specified. Estimated cost range of the project is from $100,000 to $250,000. Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1731. Small business size standard is average annual receipts of a concern and its affiliates over the preceding three fiscal years cannot exceed $7 million. Period of performance for completion of the project is ninety (90) calendar days. This acquisition is issued pursuant to the ''Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988'' and subsequent award will be subject to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Therefore, this solicitation is unrestricted. All responsible concerns may request a bid by submitting a nonrefundable charge in the amount of $25.00.
