Z -- PRE-SOL FOUNDATION REPAIR & SHORE PROTECTION, ROCKPORT, MA SOL DTCGG1-95-B-3WK342 DUE 080295 POC Attn: Frank Pfeiffer PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision for foundation repairs and shore protection at Straitsmouth lighthouse, Straitsmouth Island, Rockport, MA (Essex County). Work includes minor repairs to a section of the lighthouse foundation which has been undermined. Repairs include stabilization of a portion of unseated wall, replacement of a portion of wall which has been washed out, sealing of cracks and joints, minor excavation and backfill, pointing, and touch-up work. The shore protection portion involves site clearing, placement of filter fabric, bedding material, underlayer, and armor stone on the beach. The quantity of stone involved is estimated at approx. 1800 tons. Estimated cost is between $100,000 and $250,000. Plans and specs issue on or about July 3, 1995. A NON-REFUNDABLE FEE IN THE AMOUNT OF $20.00 WILL BE REQUIRED FOR THE BID PACKAGE.
