The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to issue a RFP for a requirements contract for construction services to include renovations, alterations, repairs, and maintenance to the Western Currency Facility located in Fort Worth, Texas. Work will be performed by the issuance of Task Orders for various amounts and types of work. One or more contracts may be awarded as a result of this solicitation and will be for a period of one (1) base year and three (3) option years. The estimated award amount for each contract for each year is approximately $2,100,000 for an aggregate amount of $10,000,000. The proposal will be evaluated based on, but not limited to, the following criteria: (1) specialized experience in performing maintenance, alterations, renovations, and repairs in an industrial production facility, (2) past performance on contracts in an industrial facility, (3) timeliness/mobilization ability to commence performance within ten (10) calendar days after receipt of an award of a Task Order, and (4) management approach. Various types and amounts of work will be issued on Task Orders from time to time during the life of this contract(s). Security Clearances for the Contractor's personnel are required.
