Z -- CONVENTIONAL ROOFS REQUIREMENT CONTRACT Sol F48608-95-B0021. Due 063095. Contact Darlene Faulkner, 307-775-3917, Contract Administrator. Work includes but is not limited to removing existing and installing new shingle, clay and built up roofing systems. This will include replacing decking, gutter, downspouts, underlayment, hand seal shingles, cap and flashing. Buildings are from 1 and 2 1/2 stories with 3/12 to 7/12 slopes. Performance period for resultant indefinite delivery requirements construction contract awarded as a result of this solicitation will be 1 year with the possibility of a one year option. Invitation for BID (IFB) is limited and will be furnished to the requestor on a first received, first served basis until supply is exhausted. Telephone requests will not be honored. The issue date will be on or about 30 Jun 1995 with bid opening date 30 days after issuance. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This action is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible but not later than 20 Jun 95. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice.
