Unrestricted. The purpose of this project is to remove the existing
fire alarm system and upgrade it to provide a new addressable multiplex
smoke detection/fire alarm system and to provide automatic sprinkler
protection throughout. All fire alarm devices shall be new including
horn/strobes, smoke detectors and manual stations. All existing
connections between the fire alarm control panel and the gamewell local
energy master box are existing to remain. Requests for plans and
specifications may be mailed to the above address or request may be
sent via fax by using Fax #(202) 433-0939. Contractors within the local
area are urged to pick-up a copy of the solicitation at Building 212,
first floor, plans & specs room, at the Washington Navy Yard. The hours
of operation for Plans & Specs are 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday thru
Friday. There will be no charge for these documents, however, there
will only be one set issued per contractor. Requests for plans & specs
and bidders lists should be made separately. Please note that plans &
specs will be issued on a first-come, first-serve basis. The projected
date of issuance of plans and specs is 8 August 1995. The projected
date for bid opening is 7 September 1995. The estimated cost of
