Sources will be required to meet the requirements and supply test reports as required by GSA specification FCNE 87-441a, dated October 25, 1990, covering furniture systems. Test requirements can be obtained from GSA, FSS, 3FNS-C0, 1941 Jefferson davishwy., room 403, Arlington, VA 22202 or by calling (703) 305-7289. Contractors on Federal supply schedule 71, part II, section E, furniture systems will automatically be contacted and need not respond. Sources must have commerically available product and will be required to perform product evaluation anddemonstration. Responses not received by the due date will not be considered for this acquisition. The furniture system is based on interconnecting structural panels as a central, intergrating element. In addition to thepanels, the system shall include panel supported storage, task managementdevices, electrical and wire management components and panel supportedworksurfaces.
