The requried work requires the design, development and testing of two (2) prototype engines, nominally rated 600HP. Haeco will leverage lessons Learned from its previous contract efforts involving the initial prototype of this design, which combines elements of both Diesel and gas turbine technology, such that the engine will not be cooled via conventional water-glycol cooling system. The effort involves component development, engine design, fabrication, system intrgration and performance testing. The period of performance is two years.
