Bernal, Phone (703)604-6100 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for planning and support of air worthiness flight testing of the Standoff Land Attack Missile Expanded Response (SLAM ER) on the F/A-18C/D aircraft. A test program is intended to qualify the SLAM ER for carriage, launch, jettison and carrier operations form the F/A-18C/D aircraft. This effort involves the performance of engineering services, flight test planning, aircraft instrumentation, ground and flight testing, data collection and reduction, and reporting. The goal of the test program is to determine the SLAM ER F/A-18C/D captive carriage, launch, and jettison envelopes. This synopsis is for informational purposes only.
