The project consists of up to three separate portions that may be awarded all at the same time, or incrementally as funding becomes available. The work includes up to 1 each corner searches, control survey, up to 5 each corner monumentations, up to 6.45 miles of marking and posting, and up to 14 each maintenance of existing corners. This project is located on the Hood Canal Ranger District, Olympic National Forest, Mason and Jefferson Counties, Washington. Estimated start work date is August 15, 1995, with work to be completed within 180 days. Interested and qualified firms are invited to respond by submitting Forms SF-254, SF-255 and supplemental narrative and samples as follows: (1) Give a brief description of steps you will use to complete a project of this type, (2) Describe corner search process. (3) What measurements and observation techniques will be used to assure compliance with contract specifications? (4) Some examples of land survey problems you have encountered on similar projects and and how you resolved them. (5) How will corner monumentation be accomplished? (6) How will marking and posting be accomplished? (7) How will control survey be accomplished? (8) How will records research be accomplished? (9) Name, registration number, and percent of time proffesional land surveyor in charge of the project will spend on each phase. (10) Submit a copy of a recent survey plat that is representative of your cadastral survey work. Submit responses to the Contracting Officer.
