In keeping with its commitment to enhance procurement opportunities to small businesses, especially small disadvantaged and women-owned businesses, and in support of the Department's initiative to further contract opportunities to historically under-utilized businesses, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is sponsoring a Small Business Breakfast on July 10, 1995, at the Holiday-Inn at 550 C Street, S. W., Washington, D.C. 20034. The cost of the Breakfast is $10 per participant. It is the BEP's intent to use the Breakfast as a means of allowing its Prime Contractors with subcontracting possibilities, various members of the small business community, and BEP technical and contracting personnel the opportunity to come together for the purpose of networking and exchanging business interest. This Breakfast will also allow the BEP Prime Contractors the opportunity to fulfill a provision of their shows and similar events as evidence of their commitment to identify small businesses for subcontract opportunities. The BEP Purchase Cardholders will also be in attendance at the breakfast. During the breakfast, a selected number of large and small businesses will be allowed to make a 2 minute presentation concerning their business and related contract opportunities.
