Development (USAID), is sponsoring two further small business
opportunities conferences in 1995, for U.S. small businesses and
disadvantaged enterprises, including women-owned businesses,
Historically Black Universities and Colleges (HBCUs), colleges and
universities having a student body in which more than 40 percent of the
students are Hispanic-American, and Private Voluntary Organizations
(PVOs), controlled by minorities or women. The one-day conferences will
be held in Denver, Colorado on June 28, 1995, and in Indianapolis,
Indiana on July 20, 1995. The conferences will feature workshops,
counseling sessions, and speakers emphasizing marketing strategies for
consulting services, procurement opportunities for export of
manufactured goods/commodities, subcontracting opportunities, and how
to do business with USAD in the international marketplace. Point of
