negotiations are contemplated with San Jose State University at San
Jose, Caifornia, for undergraduate and graduate courses in various
engineering and business disciplines and related fields to be conducted
at the San Jose State University campus. San Jose State University has
the following unique charac teristics required to fulfill agency
needs: (1) offers undergraduate and graduate level courses in business,
engineering and other related disciplines, that meet agency needs, (2)
offers courses at a campus within close proximity to NASA Ames
Research Center, and (3) offers courses at a fair and reasonable price.
The contract will be for a one year base period with 4 one year
options. The estimated award will be late August, 1995. All responsible
sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency.

MidRange Program approved by the Office of Federal Procurement Policy
on August 22, 1994. 22. This contract action is for supplies or
services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with
only one source under authority of the Training Act. Interested persons
may identify their interest and capability to respond to the
requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request
for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within
forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be
determined by the Government. A determination by the Government not to
open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this
notice is received as a result of a notice of intent will normally be
considered solely for the purpose of deter mining whether to conduct a
