The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission to Sri Lanka intends to competitively procure for the Sri Lankan Departments of National Budget, State Accounts, and National Planning three local area networks and a desktop publishing system. The contractor will furnish and install approximately 3 files servers, 30 workstations and displays, 20 printers, 6 uninteruptible power supplies, a relational data base management system, a desk top publishing system and related software and hardware. Desk top publishing must be in English, Sinhala, and Tamil languages. Suppliers must have representatives in Sri Lanka with adequate experience and maintenance and repair capability. USAID source origin requirements for the procurement are U.S. and Sri Lanka. The USAID Regional procurement Office anticipates issuance of an RFP in July with a 40 day response time. (0171)
