Crowe, (415)750-2171, Additional Contact, Rod Sanches, (415)750-2065 The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting offers from qualified contractors to develop a document imaging system that is capable of retrieving black & white images of stored documents within the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center - San Francisco. This system will include images of scanned documents that were generated by this agency and other Government and nongovernment agencies,such as vendor's and manufacturer's invoices, correspondence, and Government archives. In addition, the contractor must convert archived invoiced materials currently located in storage facilities within the medical center. The acquired document imaging system must be compatable with existing hardware (computers & peripherals) and software currently in use at the medical center; this system also includes contractor provided work stations, training, maintenance,and supplies. The DVAMC intends to award a firm-fixed price negotiated service/supply contract with a base year and four (4) one year options. The SIC code assigned for this procurement is #7375 - Information Retrieval Services ($7.0 Million small business size). This is a total unrestricted procurement.
