Space Flight Center, AL 35812. Under NASA's MidRange Pilot Test Program
approved by the Office of Federal Procurement Policy on April 16, 1993,
NASA procurement information is now available to the public over the
Internet from all NASA field installations. MidRange is a streamlining
initiative for acquisitions between the small purchase threshold and
$500,000. MidRange procurement notices and solicitations are available
in electronic form for viewing and downloading. A general description
of the MidRange program, it's procedures, and other specific MidRange
procurement information are included, in addition to general Center
procurement information. Recently, this service was expanded to include
many non-Midrange acquisitions also. The documents, in electronic
format, reside on a world-wide web (WWW) server, which may be accessed
using Internet browsers, such as, MOSAIC. All NASA procurement sites
are linked from the Federal Acquisition Jumpstation at the WWW address,
