PRESOLICITATION NOTICE - The work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment required for installation of Threat Emitters at nine sites for the base bid, and up to eight additional sites as additives including clearing and grubbing, earthwork, reiforced concrete pads, chain link fence, underground conduit and disconnect unit for commercial power, meter pole, propane generator and fuel tank when no commercial power is available and incidental related work, complete and ready for use.--The estimated cost is between $100,000 and $250,000.--Firm Fixed Price Contract.--Contract duration is approximately 225 calendar days.--This proposed contract is tentatively 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB).--The Standard Industrial Code is 1542 and the annual size standard is $17 million.--SDB General Contractors must respond in writing no later than 15 days after publication of this advertisement in the CBD.--The written response shall provide the following information: the IFB number N68711-95-B-7638, the firms complete name, address, and phone number, including area code, bonding limitation, capacity, and current availability, the firm's dollar limit for bid guarantee/performance guarantee capacity, provide a minimum of three references with same or similar type work that is currently in progress, or that has been successfully completed.--Lack of detailed responses to the above requested information may result in this solicitation being issued unrestricted.--Tentative issue date on or about 5 July 1995 with an opening date of approximately 30 days later (NOTE: BOD stated above is TENTATIVE).
