Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, bonds, insurance, supervision and miscellaneous items required to install exterior insulation, vinyl siding, construct and install vinyl replacement window and install a continuous gutter system on nine (9) residential staff housing units. Houses are located at the Federal Correctional Institution, 1100 River Road, Hopewell, Virginia (Prince George County). Each residential unit will be considered as a separate entity and will be bid on separately. The government reserves the right to determine the quantity of houses to be covered under this contract action. Bids will be issued on or about July 3, 1995. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on July 17, 1995, at 9:00 AM in the Federal Correctional Institution, Administration Building, 1100 River Road, Hopewell, Virginia. It will be mandatory for each contractor bidding on this work to attend the pre-bid conference. Also contractors will be required to make a site inspection to ensure condition of each unit and take actual measurements prior to submitting final bid documents. Estimated cost range of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. This procurement is set-aside for small businesses and small disadvantaged business concerns only. The size standard for small business and small disadvantaged concerns is $7.0 million. All responsible sources may submit a bid. (166)
