Project involves: the retrofit of approximately 434 existing building lighting fixtures, including disposal of PCB contaminated ballasts. Any contractor or subcontractor performing asbestos or other hazardous material work shall satisfy special responsibility and shall provide bodily injury liability insurance coverage written on the comprehensive form of policy of at least $500,000 per occurrence. Such coverage must encompass liabilities arising from work with hazardous materials involved. The Government will not indemnify against such risks. The GSA has determined that this procurement is subject to participation goals in Section 3021 of the Energy Policy Act of 1992.
