two oil water separators, fully automated for continuous unattended
operation to be a Sigma Model #S1-50 OWS with ET-35A or approved equal
with the following salient characteristics: Flow rate: 50 GPM nominal;
Influent to be 0-100% oil concentration. Specific gravity of oils to be
separated range from 0.865 to 0.898; Oil discharge to contain less than
5% water; Effluent to contain less than 15 ppm oil with no visible
sheen; Oil content monitor on effluent to divert flow if 15 ppm is
exceeded; Default to recirculation mode in the event of a component
failure or monitor error and alarm if unit is unable to restore normal
operation in 10 minutes; Must be capable of a 20 foot vertical suction
lift on inlet; Must be capable of a 25 foot vertical discharge on oil
outlet; Pump to be an integral component of the system; No pneumatic
operated components; Operating fluid range 32 degrees F to 120 degrees
F; Tank construction to be suitable for exterior service (-15 degrees
F to 120 degrees F); Provide drain port to completely empty tank; All
pipe interfaces to be FNPT; Electrical operating power shall be
3-Phase 460 VAC with 15 amps circuit protection; All electrical
components to be weatherproof enclosed NEMA 12; Maximum space envelope
48 inches wide, 66 inches deep, 84 inches high; Maximum wet total
weight 5,000 lbs. The performance period is 50 calendar days after
contractor notification of award. Any responsible source may submit a
bid which shall be considered. Firms responding to this synopsis shall
do so in writing and indicate whether they are a minority business
