Portable VHF Repeater II of Type I Encryption and Part # P1821X-H112, three (3) ea. Portable UHF Repeater II of Type I Encryption. Type I ecryption is proprietary to the National Security Agency (NSA) and Motorola Inc. is the only firm authorized to utilize this process in its communication equipment. It is our intent to make an award to Motorola Inc. The repeaters must be 100% compatible with existing equipment. Interested sources should provide the contracting office as early as possible but no later than 15 days after this notice, evidence of their technical qualifications to provide the items required in detail to allow evaluation by the contracting officer.
