58 -- TELECOMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT Sol 9501.318. POC Fax to Sandy Reid 202/260-7869. DynCorp Engineering & Information Technologies (I&ET), under contract to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), contract no. 68-W2-0013 plans to test and evaluate Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) remote access devices to support EPA telecommuting requirements. DynCorp plans to test the effectiveness of various devices that can be at a remote site and/or a central network site. Products would be tested in a lab environment. Requirements: 1) Remote and central site equipment compatible with ATT 5ESS and NT DMS-100 switching platforms, compatible with National ISDN-1 and ATT 5ESS custom 2B1Q line protocols, and interface with ISDN BRI at the U interface; 2) Remote site equipment supports simultaneous voice and data, supports CSV and CSD, and supports various analog devices; 3) Central Network equipment shall interface with Cubix remote comm servers via RS-232 and provide ISDN connectivity up to 128 Kbps. Testing requirements: 1) test and evaluation will be performed for approximately 30 days; 2) equipment will be made available to DynCorp at no charge (vendor responsible for all charges including shipping and handling); 3) neither DynCorp nor EPA is obligated to procure any equipment submitted for testing; 4) equipment submitted must be commercially available for procurement; 5) the vendor will provide all technical specs and installation and operations manuals for equipment submitted.
