Ward, (801) 524-5248, Contracting Officer The work is situated approximately 20 miles northeast of Park City, Utah in Summit County. The principal components of the work to be performed under these specifications include the following: Renovating 24 campsites and 2,500 feet of road in the Juniper Campground, at Rockport Lake State Park. Renovation includes demolishing and removing existing features; providing a water supply system and electrical system servicing each camping unit; and providing concrete pads, shelters, tables, barbecue grills and fire circles. Roadwork includes overlaying existing roads and spurs with geotextile material and bituminous surfacing; Renovating small parking lot at Cedar Point campground. Includes removal of some asphalt and reshaping parking lot; Stabilizing approximately 600 linear feet of slope. Includes excavation and embankment, placing a geotextile and riprap for slope protection; Developing a day use area including an access road and a parking lot for 40 vehicles. Installing a group shelter covering a concrete pad, a four person rest room, and an asphalt trail for wheelchair access to the pad. Solicitations will be available after July 10, 1995.
