Gratz, (409)639-8517 The project consists in constructing an armoured (wood and/or geotextiles) access for oil well drilling equipment to a shallow well through a Federally designated Wilderness area in Jasper, County, Texas. Additionally, the armoured access is to be removed after its intended use. The terrain is bottomland within a major creek floodplain with highly sensitive soils and vegetation. The 1000 feet access will also include light clearing, furnishing and installing two small culverts, and furnishing and hauling borrow material.
