Work includes the repair of noted station roads and storm drainage. Road repairs shall be made by crack sealing, slurry sealing, pothole patching, overlays, reconstruction, and new pavement sections. Storm drainage repairs shall be made by reworking or constructing new swales, ditches, catch basins and shoulders. Also, hydroseeding disturbed areas, erosion control, and patching pavement markings and incidental related work. Estimated cost is bewteen $500,000 and $1,000,000. Pursuant to P.L. 100-656, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, this solicitation is classified as unrestricted. The proposed solicitation listed here is being considered for unrestricted. The porposed solicitation listed here is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SBD concerns should, as early as possible, but no later than 10 days from the date this notice first appears, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office above, evidence of capability to perform, including performance and credit references, former contracts of similar size and complexity, and a positive state of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on a unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all interested parties as well as from SDB concerns. Requests for copies of this proposed procurement should be submitted IN WRITING, state the solicitation number, and provide complete name, address, phone number and business size of the requestor. Additionally, requestors should indicate whether they intend to bid as a prime contractor, subcontractor or supplier.
