Z -- REMOVE AND REPLACE NURSE CALL SYSTEM, MEDICAL GAS AND HEADWALL UNITS Sol F48608-95-B0019. Due 080795. Contact Tara L Peterson, 307-775-2635, Contract Specialist. The work includes removal of the existing Nurse Call System, including hardware and wiring, installation of the hardware and wiring for the new Nurse Call System, removal of the Old Headwall Units and installation of the new ones, and removal of the Medical Gas fittings attached to the Headwall Units and replacing them with new ones, installed into the new Headwall Units. Utility hookups (vacuum, oxygen and phone jacks) also will have to be installed into the new Headwall Units. A requirement for this installation is that the contractor has at least 5 years experience in the installation of Nurse Call Systems. Performance period for firm fixed price construction contract awarded as a result of this solicitation will be 90 days. Invitation for Bid (IFB) is limited and will be furnished to the requester on a first received, first served basis until supply is exhausted. Telephone requests will not be honored. The issue date will be on or about 7 July 95 with bid opening date 30 days after issuance. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. This action is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible but no later than 23 June 95. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice.
