This project is for repairs to the ventilation system and includes air conditioning for Bldg 1002 Onizuka AS CA. Work includes replacing the roof exhaust fan and replacing them with air handling units tied into the chilled and hot water loop. Provide necessary supply and exhayst ventilation as well as air conditioning and heating to the work area; install temperature controls. Performance period is 180 days after NTP. Estimate cost range $100,000 - $250,000. This proposed procurement is being considered for 100% set-aside for SDB concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible but not later than 15 days from CBD notice date, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing the contracting officer with evidence of capability to perform (including references for similar work with telephone numbers, point of contact and contract numbers), letters from the bonding company certifying bonding capability up to the maximum magnitude of the project, previous contracts, experience and positive statement as a small and socially disadvantaged business concer. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice. If references and eligibility statements are not submitted for each separate solicitation, those SDB concerns will not be considered in determining the set-aside. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from both large and small business concerns as well as SDB concerns. Woman-owned small businesses are encouraged to reply. All responsive, responsible business concerns will be considered.
