Consolidated Life Extension Program in support of the Department of Energy, Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) Program at the West Hackberry SPR Site. The effort will involve the use of subcontractor-furnished labor, material, equipment, tools, supervision, and transportation, required to perform construction work associated with the SPR Consolidated Life Extension Program, at the West Hackberry SPR Site, in Hackberry, Cameron Parish, Louisiana. The work includes WH-LE-211/211C cavern piping reconfiguration, WH-LE-230 installation of pipe racks and cable tray supports, WH-LE-198 upgrade of the distribution control system, and WH-LE-237 slop oil system installation. The work to be performed is best classified under Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code 1629, (Heavy Construction Except Dredging, Not Elsewhere Classified). The magnitude of this requirement is anticipated to be more than $10,000,000.00, and will be an unrestricted procurement. A solicitation is expected to be issued around July 1, 1995.
