Project calls for the removal and disposal of seven underground storage tanks and the demolition/disposal of an associated pump station at each of the 4401, 4402 and 4403 Series Pump Stations on the airfield at Dyess AFB, Texas. Work also includes but is not necessarily limited to testing and treatment of tank contents, testing and removal of soil and water at the resulting excavation sites, asphalt removal, seeding and site restoration. The estimated construction cost range is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The estimated construction time is 270 calendar days. SIC Code is 1799. Proposed acquisition is being considered for 100% set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible, but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting officer above, evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interesat is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice and SDB evaluation preference will not be applied. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. Requests for this solicitation must be made in writing, providing the business size and a point of contact.
