Project calls for the removal and disposal of three oil-water separators (OWS's), construction of one new/conforming OWS, and extensive modifications to a washrack (Building 4310) at Dyess AFB, Texas. Work also includes but is not necessarily limited to providing a metal building with a pretreatment system to remove heavy metals from washwater. The estimated construction cost range is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The estimated costruction time is 300 calendar days. SIC Code is 1541. Proposed acquisition is being considered for 100% set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible, but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting officer above, evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice and SDB evaluation preference will not be applied. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by this agency. Requests for this solicitation must be made in writing, providing the business size and a point of contact.
