The work shall consist of, but is not limited to, concrete curbing, structural building frame, metal roofing and siding, doors, painting, mechanical, electrical, and all other work described in the plans and specifications. This is a firm, fixed-price contract. The estimated cost of construction is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The performance period will be 120 days. This action is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible, but no later than 16 Jul 95. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. Only mail or facsimile requests for bid packages will be accepted.
