Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials and supervision to replace existing heat distribution system at McChord AFB, Washington. Work includes disposal of excess materials, demolition and asbestos abatement, excavation, trenching and earthwork, new concrete curbs, sidewalks and gutters, asphalt concrete paving, sodding of excavation areas, underground and concealed steam and condensate return systems, insulation of piping systems, cast in place concrete structures. Work shall be accomplished in two phases to accommodate necessary steam service interruptions. The magnitude of this construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. Solicitation will be issued on or about 10 Jul 95 with a bid opening date of on or about 09 Aug 95. This proposed solicitation is unrestricted. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1623 with an average annual gross revenue of $17.0 million for the last three (3) fiscal years.
