(703)349-8164. The U.S. Army, PMSW is seeking potential sources for the
procurement and installation of Modification Work Order (MWO) Kits in
support of the Trailblazer AN/TSQ-138A (V) Interference Cancellation
Upgrade effort. Three production replica MWO system upgrades have been
built under the Trailblazer Interference Cancellation Prototype
Program to include all upgrades to the software, hardware, and
documentation baselines. The tasks defined within this procurement will
require the contractor to procure, manufacture, install, test, and
deliver MWO kits to upgrade the remaining Army inventory of fielded
AN/TSQ-138 systems to the new AN/TSQ-138A (V) baseline. If any
additional changes to the Trailblazer prototype baseline are required
as a result of this effort, the contractor shall be responsible for
updating all affected documentation including, but not limited to,
engineering drawings, technical manuals, training material, and LSAR
data. As part of this effort, the contractor will be required to
procure and/or fabricate the required parts, subassemblies, and
assemblies required to upgrade the current AN/TSQ-138 systems to the
Trailblazer AN/TSQ-138A (V) baseline in accordance with the GFP
AN/TSQ-138A (V) engineering and support documentation. The contractor
will be required to procure all required hardware, software, and
documentation required to upgrade the remaining Trailblazer systems
from the existing AN/TSQ-138 baseline to the Trailblazer AN/TSQ-138A
(V) baseline. The Government will provide to the contractor the three
AN/TSQ-138A (V) Trailblazer systems upgraded under the Trailblazer
Interference Cancellation Prototype effort for use as a baseline model.
A total of 41 systems are anticipated to be upgraded under this Firm
Fixed Price effort. In addition, spare subassemblies and components
will also be procured under this effort. The contractor shall procure,
manufacture, install, and test the upgraded systems using the most
economical procurement, fabrication, and assembly techniques and
schedule considerations. Interested firms are requested to respond to
this Sources Sought Synopsis in writing not later than 10 July 1995.
All potential offerors are asked to provide comments on the draft
solicitation package and Statement of Work which will be released 1
August 1995. Comments on the draft solicitation package shall be
submitted in writing to Mrs. Judy Mullins at the above address not
