Del to Tobyhanna Army Depot, Tobyhanna, PA by 31 Dec 95. Units shall be self-contained hand-held x-ray systems capable of providing diagnostic dental radiographic images. The system shall consist of an x-ray source with collimating device, battery recharger, battery, power cord and carrying case. Desired total weight of the system, including carrying case, shall not exceed 35 pounds. System shall include a remote operating capability located on the battery pack. System design shall employ modular (printed circuit board and line replaceable unit) replacement concept. Mission need over the life of the system shall be 3000 Mean Exposures Between Operational Mission Failures(MEBOMF). Technical limit of the system shall be 9000 MEBOMF. System shall have an Operational Availability of 95 percent or greater when operated 20 hours per 24 hour period. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. (0173)
