Marine Corps Recruiting Command Demographics Support. The Marine Corps Command (MCRC) has a requirement to enhance recruitment efficiency and effectiveness by integrating local demographic estimates of the eligible population with data from the Automated Recruit Management System (ARMS) by identifying the recruitment potential for local areas. The integrated systems will provide estimates of the number of potential recruits by area for the current year and five-year forecasts and enable MCRC to track recruitment efforts and target marketing. The system will integrate local demographic data and ARMS to identify and display local recruitment potential. The system shall consist of integrated commercial-off-the shelf (COTS) software include the following capabilities: l) A spreadsheet that models the distribution of potential recruits based upon the geographic distribution of the target popolation and the propensity to enlist. 2) Mapping software that display MCRC Regions, Districts, Stations and Sub-stations and the distribution of potential recruits by ZIP code, county and state. Necessary training of MCRC personnel to operate the delivered system will also be required.
