SOL N00140-95-R-K079 SYN 421 POC Contact Point, Donna Winski, (215)697-9622, Contracting Officer, Brian Excell, (215)697-9622 The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Det Philadelphia intends to acquire a CD-ROM based Optical Server System (OSS)for NAVAVNDEPOT Cherry Point, NC. The OSS shall consist of PC file servers, CD-ROM drives and jukeboxes, network interface hardware, and all required software to provide simultaneous access for 50 concurrent users of the Information Subscrption Services on CD-ROM. The OSS must also be compatible with the existing Ethernet network currently installed at the NAVAVNDEPOT. The system shall have a minimum expected design life of 5 years. This contract covers the Government's minimum needs. The solicitation will contain specifications for the Optical Server System as appropriate. The place of performance for the task will be at the computer room, Mezzanine G, Building 137, at the Naval Aviation Depot, Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification Number is 3571. This procurement is a total small business set-aside.
