The U.S. Army Space and Strategic Defense Command (USASSDC) is seeking industry capabilities for consolidation of on-going specialized system safety work in support of missile defense programs. Work includes tasks such as identification, evaluation and analysis of hazards to life and property involving phased array radar, safety-critical software, interceptor propulsion, missile defense life cycle operation and maintenance, rocket motor ignition circuits, liquid hypergolic rocket fuels, and tasks such as missile malfunction investigations, support for development of foreign missile defense systems, and application of specific hazard analysis techniques to missile defense research and development programs. Firms that can perform the effort described above are encouraged to submit capability statements as to their qualifications. This notice is not a request for proposal. All responses to this notice shall be submitted in writing (original and one copy) to Carol Wright, CSSD-CM-CT. Responses must be received within fifteen (15) days of the publication of this notice.
