C -- PROJECT #501-215, INSTALL DOMESTIC WELL DUE 072495 POC Contact Point, Kathryn Ogilvie, (505)256-2719 Professional Architect-Engineer design services to provide all necessary services which will result in detailed working drawings, specifications, construction period services, and preparation of ''as-built'' drawings, and supporting documents for project #501-215, Install Domestic Well, project will consist of a new well house, tie-ins to the existing water supply system, a pressure booster pumping system and all necessary ancilliary components and tie-ins to assure maximum flexibility and redundancy to the water supply system at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Albuquerque, NM. The evaluation criteria for selection and contract award, in descending order of relative importance are as follows: (1) Recent specialized experience of firm in type of work required, (2) Professional capacity of the firm to accomplish the contemplated work within the time and cost limitations, (3) Professional qualifications of the staff, sub-contractors and consultants to be assigned to the project, (4) Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and Private Industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance and (5) Location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project. The estimated construction cost is between $250,000 and $500,000. Area of consideration is restricted to small business firms within a 50 mile radius of Albuquerque, NM. Architectural Engineering firms which meet the requirements described in this announcement are invited to submit a completed Standard Form 254 Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionaire and Standard Form 255 Architect-Engineer Related Services Questionaire for Specific Project, not later than 07/24/95. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The proposed acquisition listed herein is hereby set aside for small business concerns only. SIC Code 8712; average annual receipts for past 3 years cannot exceed $2.5 million dollars. A firm fixed price contract will result from this acquisition.
