081095 POC T.C. Corcoran 312 886-3532 Offeror must provide labor for
general vehicle service (body, fender and glass work excluded) on-site
at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. The Government will furnish suitable shop
space, including parts room and office space, installedhoist(S),
exhaust ventilation, air compressor and air lines, maintenance of
building and installed shop equipment, utilities, telephone for on-Post
calls, rubbish removal and a wrecker. The contractor will be required
to furnish all power and hand tools, tire changer and balancer to
accomodate vehicles through 24,000 GVW, engine diagnostic and testing
equipment, emissions analysis equipment and other equipment that may be
required for performance of thecontract, parts not furnished by the
Government, lubricants and fluids and alllabor. Contractor must have a
thorough knowledge of all manufacturer'S warrantyprograms. The fleet
of vehicles includes approximately 58 passenger sedans and station
wagons; 191 light trucks up to 12,500 GVW; 69 buses, tractors,
trailers, ambulances and trucks over 12,500. Chilton'S labor guide
manual shall be used to determine repair time. Vehicle repairs must be
accomplished within eight (8) working hours following the time listed
in the flat rate manual, unless the Government consents to other time
frames. Contract performance period is 10/01/95 through 09/30/96 with
the Government'S unilateral option to extend the terms of the contract
for four (4) one-year periods. All responsible sources may submit a bid
