The Office of the United States Agency for International Development to Senegal (USAID/Senegal) intends to negotiate a modification to contract number 685-0295-C-00-0019-00 with Louis Berger International Inc. (LBII) under the Senegal Southern Zone Management project. The modification will extend the contractor's period of performance from June 15, 1995 to December 14, 1995.. More specifically, the modification will: (1) Increase the level of effort of the professional field staff by sixteen additional person-months of direct labor, including home office support of the technical assistance field support staff; (2) increase the local staff level of effort by approximately 20 person-months including the services of the financial advisor, social science/data monitoring special list, and the NGO coordinator. The proposed extension will permit completion of the ongoing construction program IV; collection of data on the upcoming 1995 crop season; assistance in administration of the Project Management Unit (PMU) and facilitation of the transfer of the project activities to the Government of Senegal. USAID/Senegal intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with LBII pursuant to the authority of FAR6.302-1. Interested parties must read and comply with the CBD numbered note designated below.
