Inaccordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Health Care Financing Administration's Office of Managed Care intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with the National for State Health Policy, for services supporting the Medicare and Medicaid managed care quality improvement initiatives. Yhis proposed contract would extend on-going activities under a current HCFA contract, as well as add new workloads. The proposed scope of work has two (2) basic sets of tasks. (1) The contractor would convene and lead industry, accredation, and other organizations to consider policy and operational issues of coordinating the quality improvement programs of key oversight organizations. (2) The contractor would convene and facilitate a managed care plan Medical Directors Group to assist HCFA in developing and improving Medicare and Medicaid quality standards and oversight activities.
