U.S. Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command, Pacific proposes to contract for the dockside repair on USCGC CHASE, a 378' high endurance cutter. All work will be performed at the cutter's homeport of San Pedro, CA., during the period of 23 Oct through 24 Nov 1995. Items of work include; temporary services, warping capstan overhaul, ammo hoist inspection and test, JP-5 system modification, mgt quill shaft fwd bearing mod, sewage tank installation, CMWDS modification, anchor swivel replacement, sewage piping repair and flight deck renewal. In accordance with the competitive demonstration program an unrestricted solicitation will be issued on or about 28 Jul 1995. All responsive bids will be considered. (0174)
