Equipment must adhere to the performance work statement requirements. Period of performance is 1 Apr 95 through 30 Sep 96, with four option periods: 1st option period, 1 Oct 96 through 30 Sep 97; 2nd option period, 1 Oct 97 through 30 Sep 98; 3rd option period, 1 Oct 98 through 30 Sep 99; 4th otpion period, 1 Oct 99 through 30 Sep 2000. Solicitation will be issued on or about 1 Oct 95 and bid opening on or about 16 Nov 95. The magnitude of this project is projected at $5.4 million for the Basic and 4 option years. SIC is 4212. Size standard is $18.5 million. The performance period is 182 days for the basic year. The proposed acquisition listed here is being considered for 100 percent set aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible, but not later than 15 days after receipt of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office, evidence of the capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. If the adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice.
