The work includes, but is not limited to, construction of forty-five housing units (22 duplexes and 1 single family unit) in three phases and related sitework. Sitework includes, but is not limited to, demolition, utilities, roads, walks, fences, landscaping, lighting, bus stop structure and playgrounds. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with Specification No. 05-3926-95 and Drawing No.05-3926-95. Work shall be completed within 365 calendar days after Notice to Proceed for the Base Bid and each of the options. Plans (half-size), specifications, and all necessary bid documents will be available July 13, 1995 and may be obtained by submitting a check in the amount of $10.00 per set (non-refundable) made payable to the U. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses.
