Work consists of repairing flood damaged levees at 17 locations. The work includes excavating, stockpiling, placing and compacting approximately 28,000 c.y. of existing earth material; clearing vegetation over an area of approximately 1,500 s.f.; hydromulching over an area of approximately 200,500 s.f.; and furnishing and placing the following approximate quantities of material: 5,200 c.y. of earth material, 2,000 tons of 12-inch size riprap, 1,925 tons of quarry spalls, 400 c.y. of granular fill, 25,800 s.f. of sheetpile, 820 tons of aggregate base and 4,900 s.y. of asphalt pavement.
