WASHINGTON, DC METRO AREA INCLUDING THE COUNTIES OF WASHINGTON, DC;
MONTGOMERY, FREDERICK, TALBOT, BALTIMORE, MD; FAIRFAX, LOUDON,
ARLINGTON, VA SOL RFP No. 415046-95-A-0433 due 071495. POC Project
Manager, Willard B. Powell, (703) 824-5094, and Contract Specialist,
Anna Fuselli, 215-931-5456. The contract(s) resulting from this
solicitation will include services for Repairs & Alterations at various
USPS owned or leased facilities located within the WASHINGTON, DC METRO
area including the counties of Wahington, DC; Montgomery, Frederick,
Talbot & Baltimore in MD; Fairfax, Loudon & Arlington in Virginia.
Contractors must have a minimum of two (2) years experience, as of the
date of issue, in Repairs & Alterations. Contractors must also possess
the capabilities of working at least three to four jobs at the same
time. Specific work orders will be issued by the Contracting Officer in
accordance with the unit price schedule and specifications. One or more
work orders will be issued totalling not less than $10,000.00 nor more
than $500,000.00 during a two (2) year period of the contract. The
initial limit of $500,000.00 may be increased by modifications as
agreed upon by the Contractor and the Contracting Officer up to the
maximum of $250,000. The Postal Service guarantees no specific number
of work orders nor a specific amount other than the total of $10,000.00
set out above. The Contractor will not be required to perform work
under any work order where the value of work in any building is less
than $500.00. Offerors will be required to submit one (1)
``multiplier'' to be applied to the various unit prices established in
the ``Unit Price Schedule''. The multiplier must contain the
Offerors's overhead, profit, bonds, insurance and all other
contingencies. No allowance for such items will be made after contract
award. Offers are due by 4:00 PM on July 14, 1995. Plans and
specifications will be available on or about June 19, 1995 at a cost of
