Repair Base Manholes, Whiteman AFB, Missouri. Project YWHG 96-008. Project is to repair base manholes. Work includes repair or replace approximately 170 manholes on Whiteman AFB. Some of these manholes are precast concrete; however, most are brick structure type manholes. This project falls in the bidding range of $500,000 to $1,000,000. The performance period is 270 calendar days from notice-to-proceed. This project is being funded as advance contracting. The SIC code for this project is 1623. This action is being considered for 100% set aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid no later than 10 July 1995. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform project of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice.
